Dean for Student Success

Georgia serves as the Dean for Student Success at Northeast 湖景镇的 大学. She has been a champion for Student Success in Higher Education forover twenty years working with diverse student populations, including Veterans and their family members, 第一代, 第一次上大学, 和非传统. Georgia leads efforts to ensure students’ success, by guiding the institution’s mission, vison and values of creating a lifelong learning environment for its diverse community. As a member of the National 社区 大学 Hispanic Council (NCCHC) 领导 Fellows, she is committed to furthering the evolving mission of access and success in community colleges.

Georgia has a passion for helping people reach their academic, professional, and personal goals. Georgia serves on numerous committees, including Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM), 毕业, QEP, Employee Experience Team, 及学生家长.

She is a 2020 Alumni of ALAS. Georgia was awarded the 2023 NISOD Excellence Award Recipient and was recently accepted into the 阿拉莫大学 区 first 领导 Academy Cohort. She received her Master’s degree in Education from UT Permian Basin and her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Columbia 大学. Also, she was recently accepted into the Fall 2023 Texas Tech PhD program in Higher Education.
