NLC Nets Commitment Level Recognition

Receives Performance Excellence Award from the Quality Texas Foundation

东北湖景学院 completed the requirements for recognition at the Commitment Level by the Quality Texas Foundation (QTF) and received its award at the recent Quality Texas Conference.

The Quality Texas Foundation assists organizations with continuous improvement efforts by utilizing the Baldrige Framework and since 1993, QTF has administered the Texas Award for Performance Excellence (TAPE) as an independent non-profit corporation. Winning TAPE symbolizes that the organization is one of the best in the state of Texas based upon a very rigorous and robust process. QTF has also had many organizations also win the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and lead all the other states in this area.

The Commitment Level is for those organizations that have begun using quality principles to build a sound management system. Such organizations will have identified areas that are most important to the organization’s long-term success and will have begun developing systematic approaches for key processes. It is likely that measures and performance levels can be demonstrated in some of these areas.

NLC began its journey with the Quality Texas Foundation in 2016 and received Pioneer Recognition from the organization and Engagement Level Recognition in 2018. 东北湖景学院 uses feedback from QTF at each of its recognized levels as part of its overall continuous improvement process and annual planning cycle.
